The Nordic Week has started once again, kicking off with a relaxed Creative Coast Festival that opened its door in Karlshamn.
The Festivals' show floor hosts some 15 developers showcasing games and playful installations. From Mariam Zakarian's relaxing Amaryllis VR to the optimistic strategy game Heart. Papers. Border. and the story driven Historea by our members Jovian Industries and Talecore.
The show floor is surrounded by several lecture rooms that hosts talks from Brie Code, Sarah Brin (ITU/Autodesk/Vice), Michael Frederickson (Disney Pixar) and many more key figures of the industry.
- Creative Coast is a very cute game event where you come here for the games and the people and you stay here for the sea, says Bram Ruiter, the film maker behind Super Game Jam.
The game development celebrations continue in Malmö at Nordic Game Conference, that debuts on Wednesday, May 17. Sweden Game Arena will be present at Nordic Game Conference with a large booth joined by 20 member studios and The Game Incubator.
