From October 20-23 Sweden Game Arena hosts its yearly conference in Skövde. Beyond presence from The Game Incubator, it will be with Danish participation as well.
Game Hub Denmark from Grenaa and Arsenalet’s Game Incubator from Viborg are filling a bus full of companies from their incubation environments and heading off to three days filled with international speakers, workshops and networking possibilities with their Swedish counterparts.
Aside from providing the incubation companies with a professional network, the purpose of the trip is also to open up for matchmaking – with an eye to establish Scandinavian co-productions.
Game Hub Scandinavia track
The Game Incubator, Game Hub Denmark and Arsenalet’s Game Incubator are all a part of the EU-funded project Game Hub Scandinavia. The ambition of the project is to establish 55 new game businesses with 398 new fulltime employments in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Game Hub Scandinavia is also arranging a track at Sweden Game Conference. The track focuses on games and markets outside the western hemisphere and features speakers from India, China and Nigeria. This provides an excellent chance to learn about games in these countries. What is the gaming business like in China? What do people play in Nigeria? What do people enjoy in India?
Furthermore, the track will feature talks about gamification, which is another focus of the Game Hub Scandinavia project. Feel free to join the track at Sweden Game Conference 2016 on October 21. The events unfold at 9.45 in Room 2 at Arena Skövde.
